TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of Service for Psalms Praylist
Last Updated: July 23, 2026
This Terms of Service (\"Terms\") governs your use of the Psalms Praylist App (\"the App\"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
The App allows you to add names to a public prayer list for spiritual purposes, read Psalms, and track your reading progress. You agree to use the App in a manner consistent with its purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
1.1 Content Standards
When adding names to the prayer list, you must ensure that the names and any associated information:
Are not offensive, obscene, defamatory, or inappropriate, including but not limited to names associated with hate figures (e.g., \"Hitler\"), curse words, or any content deemed offensive or harmful.
Do not infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy or intellectual property rights.
Are accurate and provided with the consent of the individual whose name is being added, where applicable.
Any names or content that violate these standards may be removed from the prayer list at the sole discretion of the App’s operator, without prior notice or refund.
To report a name or content you believe violates these standards, contact support through the website at Contact. Reports are reviewed and offending entries are removed promptly.
2. Adding and Deleting Names
2.1 Adding Names
You may add names to the prayer list by selecting a duration and completing the associated purchase through Apple\'s In-App Purchase system. By adding a name, you confirm that you have permission to share the name publicly on the prayer list, which is visible to all other users of the App.
Adding a name requires your device to be signed in to iCloud, as prayer list entries are stored using Apple\'s CloudKit service. You will not be charged if no iCloud account is available. Reading the Psalms and viewing the prayer list do not require an iCloud account.
2.2 Deleting Names
You can delete names you have added through the My Added Names section in the App. The ability to delete an entry is linked to the device from which it was added. Names added from a device you no longer use, or added before August 12 in an earlier version of the App, may not be removable from within the App. In those cases, contact support and the entry will be removed on your behalf.
3. Purchases and No Refund Policy
3.1 In-App Purchases
The App offers in-app purchases to add names to the prayer list for specified durations (e.g., day, week, month, year). All purchases are processed through Apple’s payment system and are subject to Apple’s payment policies.
3.2 No Refunds for Removed Content
If a name you added is removed due to a violation of the content standards (e.g., offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content), no refund will be provided for the associated purchase. All other refund requests are subject to Apple’s App Store refund policies.
If a purchase completes but the name cannot be saved to the prayer list, the App will offer to retry saving it without charging again. If the problem persists, contact support.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to interfere with the App’s functionality, including through hacking, data scraping, or introducing malicious code.
Share personal information without proper consent or authorization.
5. Intellectual Property
All content and materials within the App, including text, graphics, and software, are the property of the App’s operator or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the App without prior written consent.
The text of the Psalms is reproduced from public-domain sources and is not claimed as the property of the App\'s operator: the Hebrew from Tanach with Ta\'amei Hamikra, and the English from The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation (JPS 1917).
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by the Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Termination
Your access to the App may be suspended or terminated at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct deemed harmful to the App or its users.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an \"as is\" and \"as available\" basis. There is no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App’s operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or inability to use the App.
10. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website at Terms of service, and the effective date will be indicated at the top. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Contact
If you have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding these Terms, including difficulties with deleting names from the prayer list, please contact support through the website at Contact.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By using Psalms Praylist, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
